Established in 2001 by Don DeVeux to fill a gap in the software community, Renaissance Geek Technology Solutions, commonly called RenGeek, has provided service to many clients under various names. Originally, RenGeek began as a part-time consultancy providing services to clients that larger consulting companies did not consider lucrative enough to pursue. As the need for these services grew, RenGeek's services expanded to meet those needs.

Rengeek focuses on providing technology solutions that make business sense. The days of implementing technology for technology sake are gone. In its place are business people facing various problems that often can be solved by the proper application of technology. The solution may involve a realignment of their IT department, a single pre-packaged application, integration of reporting, or any combination of these.

Currently, RenGeek is a consortium of Microsoft Partners seeking to provide valuable technology solutions to a wide range of clients. Through these partners, RenGeek provides a wide range of services.
